Tri-State Tire Service is a family-owned and operated retail and commercial tire business dedicated to serving the tri-state area.  We offer sales and service of Passenger Car/Van/Light Truck, Commercial, Industrial, and OTR tires.  Being an independent retailer allows us to offer the availability of many tire brands to our customers.  Tire brands most commonly sold include:

                                      Kelly-Springfield
                                      Turnpike (made by General)

Other brands usually available the same day or within 3 days include:

Goodyear                                              Michelin
Dunlop                                                  Mastercraft (made by Cooper)
Monarch (made by Kelly-Springfield)  Tredtech (made by General)
General                                                  Maxxis Buckshot Mudders
Dean (made by Cooper)                        Winston (made  by
Dayton                                                   Kelly-Springfield)

     * Tire Prices for Cars, Vans, and Light Trucks Include Mounting of New Tires on Vehicle and Computer Balance.  (New Rubber Valves also included on most applications.)
     * Lug nuts on all Cars, Vans, and Light Trucks are Tightened with Torque Sockets Specific for Each Vehicle.  Thus, these Sockets Prevent Unnecessary Over tightening (or Under tightening) of Lug nuts.

We now offer computerized wheel alignment for your car, van, or truck with a Hunter Model 611 - the latest in automotive alignment technology.  This is one of the newest (and most sophisticated) alignment machines in the tri-state area and provides printouts of before and after measurements taken from your vehicle.  Many other shops "align" vehicles by adjusting toe only.  Such a procedure is often nicknamed a "toe-and-go alignment" and is not a true alignment.  Here, we check and adjust camber, caster, and toe if possible.  Thereby, your vehicle is adjusted to the best possible specifications given by the vehicle manufacturer.
    *  For vehicles with non-adjustable rear suspensions, thrust angle alignments are performed.  During such a procedure, after angle readings are measured at all four wheels and the steering wheel is centered, the front wheels are referenced to the rear thrust line and set to specifications.  Result:  all four wheels are parallel and the steering wheel is centered.
    *  For vehicles with adjustable rear suspensions, 4 Wheel (total) alignments are performed.  During this alignment, after angle readings are measured  at all four wheels, the rear wheels are set to specification.  (Rear thrust line corresponds to vehicle centerline.)  Next, the steering wheel is centered.  Finally, the front wheels are referenced to the rear thrust line and set to specifications.  Result:  all four wheels are positioned straight ahead and parallel, and the steering wheel is centered.

           * Equal Balancing Powder and Valve Core Filters are Available for Balancing Heavy Duty Trucks, Buses, Vans, and Motor homes.  Balance Masters, Active Wheel Balancing Rings Filled with Liquid Mercury, are also Available for such Applications.

     * Truck and OTR Retreaded Tires are Available for Commercial or Industrial Applications.

     * Industrial Tire Press Available for the Mounting and Dismounting of Solid Tires.
